Half Truths

I heard on the news how the $250.00 going out to social security recipients' and VA disabled will have an immediate impact on our economy, the administration is only informing us of half truths, the fact is that any VA disability payments for conditions rated at less than 50% have to be taken from a military retiree's pay.  Approximately 450,000 military retirees' are in this category.  The $250.00 one time payment is for being VA disabled and as I understand it will be taken from my retirement dollar for dollar.  This is not going to stimulate the economy, in one even transaction the money is given to me and taken back, it moved from one government agency to another.   The tax dollars really are not being spent, just moved from department to department in a shell game and sold to the public as what a great favor they are doing all of us.
