Have not blogged in awhile-time to vent

1.  President Obama's stimulus is crap,  a bunch of road building jobs and construction jobs are only going to stimulate the economy's of those countries south of the US.  I don't mean this to be hateful, I really don't, believe me I really don't, but I worked with the aggregate industry in my past, the road crews (paving) were primarly hispanic immigrants, talking with part of the crew one day I found out about 6 of them all shared a house rental,  they were paid weekly on the paving crew, they told me (one day when I was having my driveway paved) that on each payday they pooled their money for rent and food and they told me they sent the remaining money to their families in Mexico, they intended to stay until their property was paid for down there and then go home and retire and wait for social security.  When we were bought out by another aggregate company I went to visit the new owners primary operation and their paving crews were primarily hispanic immigrants.  I find this to be true throughout the industry.  The frustrating thing here is not the immigration because these guys were here legally (I think) but the fact that this stimulus money is not going to trickle down to other industries because it is going to siphon south.  (funny how the democrats now believe that trickle down is going to work after dogging out President Reagen for the concept, at least his method put money in everyones pockets through tax decreases instead of taking more of my money or incurring debt to be paid with my money).  I want to mention I will get $250.00 in extra VA disability money as part of the stimulus package, but because of law (I can't have both VA disability and retirement so for every dollar I receive in disability they take from my military retirement, yeh I pay my own disability) (I don't have to pay income tax on the disability so there is some advantage I guess).  I will have to report it and they will take the $250.00 from my military retirement, the net result I get to pay for my own stimulus.  This is going to help I'm sure.

2.  Homeland Security and the media-bite my ass, military veterans do not have the propensity to be easy recruits for hate groups or extremism (I don't like the term right wing extremist, because I've yet to hear Green Peace or the people who forced the fur business out of Portland Oregon as left wing extremist).  The only thing anyone has to worry about is that we took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign or domestic, not a bad thing unless you plan on doing away with it.  The fact that the guy that shot the guard at the holcaust museam is a WWII veteran is fucking irrelevent.

3.  American Citizens have rights under our constitution-if you want those rights legally immigrate, screw reading rights to personnel captured on a battlefield, if they belong to a government they are covered under the Geneva Conventions, if not they don't have f**king rights that we have to accord under our constitution.

4.  I'm conservative, but get over it, prohibition didn't work for alcohol, it isn't working for weed, just fricken legalize it, tax it, 90% of the people under the age of 60 have used it and if it was legal wouldn't have ever quit using it.  (I want to say I can pass a UA).

5.  People need to wake the f**k up, banks, car companies, soon to be health care, the government needs to get out of private business, if the companies fail there are others they will fill the void.  Ford is losing money but staying solvent it would of filled the void of the lose of the government owned companies, but now it will be threatened or put out of business (I'm playing the role of prophet here), the House already is/has pushed forward a bill for a $2500.00 voucher to get rid of your gas guzzler, which car companies are going to have the qualifing cars?  I wonder.  Mark my words.

6.  Gay marrage-I really don't give a s**t who f**k's who, but I don't think they should be afforded the rights of marrage, next thing after passed they are going to sue church's for not performing the ceremonies (I'm a prophet again).

7.  David Letterman's joke was not funny about the kid, I don't care about the sexist joke about Gov Palin personnely, that can be considered funny in some circles (see how I am, but when you place your self in the public spot light your a fair target), but leave the kids out of it, my daughter is a single mother and the first person to insinuate she's a slut gets their ass kicked if they are in striking distance, want to find out, come to my house and make a joke like that about my daughter, guess I'm not qualified for public office because she had a lapse in judgement.

8.  Sick of both parties-the republicans need to stay out of morals and the democrates need to stay out of our pockets, the government belongs to us and its time to take it back, it's our responsibily as citizens to take it back.

9.  Something stinks, the Federal Reserve loaned out our money and bailed out the banks, but it is part of our banking system (not part of the Treasury or a branch of government(, it used government dollars leaving us owning the banks.  Wonder why banks still are not loaning money even at the instance of the government?

10.  Want government run health care?  Plan on 14 hour waits in emergancy rooms or more out of the pocket expenses, I have the choice between using my Tri-care or the VA (I'm service connected disabled), I just had surgery for skin cancer, I used Tri-care for this and this is why, I'm having difficulty with the VA in this region transfering me from Oregon to Texas they say I need to apply from scratch for benefits, WA DC says no I just transfer, VA here said they don't care what DC says.  Once in I make an appointment with a primary care provider assigned to me, in the past from time of call to being seen 2-3 months, then he looks and does a referel to a dermotolgist, add another 1-2 months-he looks at it and schedules a surgery add another month (my skin cancer was not lethat just eats off a chunk of your face but rarely will spread into blood stream or other organs), approximately 6 months from first call to surgery, I won't die, but the amount of tissue removed to get the cancer has grown in that six months, or use Tri-care-see my doctor of choice, pay 25% of the bill plus whatever the government said he overcharged for the procedure, sent to dermotologist within five days, complete surgery done on the spot, 25% of bill plus what the government wouldn't pay because they say his bill is too high for the procedure (but hey I got lucky, he accepted the government cost analysis and I only had to pay my 25%),  the reason it took 5 days to get to see a dermotolgist was I had to find one that would accept the slow payment of Tri-care.  I had an infection in my neck one time, couldn't wait the two months I was told I had to wait to see my doctor at the VA, went to the emergancy room and waited 16 hours from the time of arrival to be seen and treated by an emergancy room doctor, an infection is urgent care not emergancy care-urgent care clogs up the emergancy rooms in the VA system because you can't get into see your doctor (urgent care conditions can become emergancies).  If you want government run health care be prepared to wait on procedures that can disfigure you but not kill you, if it can kill you be prepared to wait up to 16 hours to be seen in your emergancy room, I give the VA credit, the orderly checks periodicaly to make sure those sleeping are not dead (Portland Oregon actually had people die at the VA emergancy room while waiting to be seen).  Plus the health care has to be paid for-they are actually talking about taxing soft drinks along with beer, wine, and cigarettes, everything is going to become a health issue, look for taxes on red meat, paints and cleaners have things in them that are bad for you, look for taxes on this stuff, motorcycles are dangerous, look for additional taxes to be levied on the manufactures of these products to be passed on the consumer, have an infinity for cheesecake? be ready for some sort of expensive government regulation that will make it more difficult for the manufacture either through labeling of ingredents or some other bullsh*t.  Car doesn't equal the GM/Chrysler safety rating be prepared for additional government funding through some sort of penalty to the competing car company. 

11.  Cops-,When you are pulled over for a traffic stop and you want to where you I'm going or where I have just been I'm going to exercise my constitutional rights to privacy under the forth amendment everytime, you want to question me I have a right to a lawyer being present, Everyone weigh your rights between a ticket or giving them up,  I've refused the question and told them to just cite me for whatever they pulled me over for, I have been held on the street for over an hour {listening to questions like if you are innocent why won't you answer where you are going?-respond with innocent of what accusations? and then remind them to question you the fact that the law states you have a right to a lawyer.  I did tell a cop once at 3:00 am in the morning when he asked that I was going to Macy's because I heard they had a half off sale, upon which he said I was lying and was on my way home because I was heading in the direction of the address on my drivers license upon which I asked him if he was so smart and knew why did he ask the question.  (I have no tickets and have never answered the question). 

12.  The american public needs to quit playing dead in the name of security and demand the rights we are afforded under the constitution and remember we are a "Union" of 50 independent states with a federal government that was structured to provide for common defense, negociate treaties on behalf of the union, it's all in the constitution read it, the federal government was designed to have limited powers, they are exceeding these powers, why are we letting it happen, if my money is taken and sent to bail out California I will be pissed.  

10.  LAST THING BECAUSE I CAN RANT ALL NIGHT LONG-I NEED A F**KING JOB, I work in the automotive/truck industry as a diesel mechanic, stimulus is not targeted towards these kind of industries, I can't afford to retrain green without a job, so I'm f**ked along with the majority of the population.
